A private outdoor app for hikers, hunters, anglers, climbers, and paddlers — groups, activities, maps, and on-device AI, built around the people you actually go outside with. Nearly a decade in development, Atlas brings together a private social feed, trip planning for groups, detailed maps with hunting, fishing, and hiking layers, and Trailhead — an AI assistant that runs entirely on the device.

No streaks, leaderboards, or engagement tricks. We measure success by time saved and trips taken, not time spent in an app.
Who we are
Founded by two military veterans.
NomaticX is veteran-owned and founder-led, headquartered in Utah. Service taught us that small teams who trust each other accomplish more than large teams who don't — and that plans, gear, and knowing exactly who you're going out with all matter.
We brought that ethos to everything we build. The result is software that respects the difference between an audience and a group of friends.
